About This Guide

This site is an independent informational guide about StreamingCommunity — the well-known Italian pirate streaming website. We explain what it is, how it works, why it keeps changing domains, what the legal and security risks are, and where you can watch films and series legally instead.

Why this site exists

Search for "StreamingCommunity" and you mostly find two things: forum threads begging for the latest working address, and scam clones pretending to be it. Almost nobody explains what the site actually is, why it disappears every few months, or what the alternatives are. That's the gap we fill.

We're not affiliated with StreamingCommunity in any way — not the operators, not the mirrors, not the clones. We're not fans of it either. This is a consumer-information site: honest facts, plain language, no links to pirate domains, no downloads, no encouragement to use it.

What we cover

  • What StreamingCommunity is — a pirate streaming site for films and TV series aimed at Italian users, with a Netflix-like layout and no registration.
  • How it works — embedded third-party hosts, pop-up advertising as the business model, variable quality.
  • Why the domain keeps changing — blocks by courts and AGCOM, including Italy's Piracy Shield system, and the mirror-site survival strategy.
  • The risks — legal sanctions under Italian copyright law, malware, phishing, privacy exposure, and scam clone sites.
  • The name confusion — the legitimate "Streaming Community" organizer app on Google Play (by DevShifters, TMDB-based, hosts no content) is a different product entirely.
  • Legal alternatives in Italy — Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Paramount+, NOW, plus the free RaiPlay and Mediaset Infinity.

How we write

Short sentences. Plain words. No jargon, no hype, no moralizing lectures — just the facts as they are. If something is illegal, we say so. If a risk is theoretical rather than proven, we say that too. Our disclaimer sets out the limits of what this site is and isn't.

What we don't do

We don't link to StreamingCommunity or any of its mirror domains. We don't host or link to downloads. We don't publish "new address" updates, because tracking pirate mirrors would just help people find them. And we don't run ads for shady services — there are none on this site at all.

If you have a question or spotted something wrong on one of our pages, the contact page explains how to reach us through the site's own community discussions. We read everything and fix real errors.
